Micro-Injections

Micro-InjectionsIn nature, only the strongest survive! At Yard Guard, our mission is to tip the odds in your favor.

Plant healthcare is what we do. Our highly trained staff inspects your property to identify any disease or insect issues before they can do damage.

If you think you may have an issue, or have a question about your trees or shrubs, please don’t hesitate to give us a call or text anytime. We can provide options of what we can offer or suggest things you can do yourself. At Yard Guard, we love to do anything we can to help.

Micro-Injections

The best part about micro-injections is it has no contact with the surrounding environment. The product can be injected right into the trunk of the tree to then be distributed to the rest of the plant. Perfect for more sensitive areas like densely populated areas or near waterways, this is the safest and most environmentally friendly treatment method because it eliminates hazards to groundwater, wildlife, people, or friendly insects, such as honey bees.

If you suspect your tree is ill or want to protect it from insects, fungicides, or disease, please contact us. We will inspect your trees and find the proper solution to keep your trees healthy and flourishing.

Lawn Care

Lawn Care Bozeman MontanaTake the worry and hassle out of maintaining a beautiful lawn with Yard Guard. We built our 5-Step Lawn Care Program to provide your lawn with the nutrition it needs to look its best and out-compete incoming weeds.
Our proprietary 5-Step Lawn Care Program includes, you guessed it, five separate applications. It is essential to complete all five steps every year as each application builds on the last. Ideally, our program starts with the fall application, which sets the foundation for the following season.

Our 5-Step Lawn Care Program

Step 1 – Granular fertilizer to help the lawn get going in the spring!

Step 2 – Liquid Fertilizer with weed control to help take care of those spring dandelions and other weeds.

Step 3 – Liquid Fertilizer with weed control. As temperatures heat up we change our mix to focus more on slow release fertilizers and add in more organics to save water, avoid burning the lawn, and promote healthy growth in the heat.

Step 4 – Liquid Fertilizer with weed control. Similar to Step 3, focusing on healthy growth, while saving water and avoiding burning.

Step 5 – We use a granular fertilizer to help the turf recover from the hot summer and build strong roots to get ready for the next season! We are able to take advantage of the cooler temperatures to put down a higher load of nutrients.

We live here, too, and we only use products that are safe for our staff, our rivers, and most of all, our customers’ pets and families. By focusing on slow-release fertilizers, micronutrients, and organic soil conditioners, we can provide amazing results while being environmentally conscious.

With Yard Guard, you’ll take the guesswork out of lawn care and have a yard full of green grass to be proud of. Does your lawn need some care? Give Yard Guard a call or get a quote online!

Blended Organic

organic lawn bozeman

At Yard Guard, we know the best lawns start from the ground up, which is why we recommend our blended organic fertilizing service. We see and treat your yard as a whole, not in separate pieces. One of the best ways to honor your yard is by using premium blended organic lawn care programs like the one we provide.

There are two types of fertilizers you can use for your yard, blended or ammoniated. Blended fertilizers take two or more materials and mix them together while keeping every granule consisting of its own material. The materials are mashed up with ammoniated fertilizers, so every granule contains a small amount of each nutrient.

We see the value in blended organic fertilizing and use a proprietary blended fertilizer program that you can’t find anywhere else on the market. Our program utilizes organic products with a minimum amount of herbicides to ensure the best results. The advantage of using a blended fertilizer is that its nutrients can last in your soil for several months, continuing to enrich your yard long after the fifth application is complete. Additionally, lawns receiving regular application have fewer issues with lawn disease making them look and feel healthier.

Our 5 Step Blended Organic Lawn Care Program

Off Lawn Weed Control

Weed Control MontanaWe want you to live in a world where you never pull another weed in your life! We offer off lawn weed control management programs for your landscape, from garden beds and driveways to noxious weeds in small field areas.

By making your turf thick and healthy, we will prevent weeds from springing up elsewhere. In addition to preventative measures, we apply products in early Spring that help to dry out seeds to prevent new weeds from growing.

We’ve seen amazing results with our off lawn weed control, but if something gets through, we will touch things up next time we are on site.
